About
Pat Fallon (R-Texas) was first sworn in to the U.S. House of Representatives on Jan. 3, 2021, representing Texas 4th Congressional District. He won in the heavily Republican district in 2020 with Trump’s endorsement and is did so again in 2022, again with Trump’s endorsement.
Fallon, the CEO of a Texas-based clothing company “specializing in patriotic designs,” also served north Texas in the State Legislature from 2013–20. He is an alumnus of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), a corporate-funded bill mill that generates conservative legislation at the state level, and a current member of the House Republican Study Committee, a caucus of congressional conservatives.
After the 2020 presidential election, Fallon helped spread the Big Lie, objected to certifying the Electoral College results, and voted against both impeaching Trump for inciting the mob and establishing a special House committee to investigate the insurrection, among other measures.

- Just hours after Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, Fallon joined 146 other congressional Republicans in refusing to certify Biden’s win of the 2020 presidential election. He told Texas Monthly that he didn’t blame Trump for sparking the violence and fanning the flames but instead believed the riot was caused by a “few, very few, bad apples.”
- A week later, Fallon refused to hold Trump accountable, deriding the “snap impeachment” as “a sham” and saying on the House floor: “This is just political grandstanding at its worst. Let’s end this obsession and charade….”
- On May 19, 2021, Fallon voted against establishing a special House committee to investigate the attack on the Capitol.
The Big Lie
- In January 2022, Fallon refused to respond to the Texas Tribune’s question about whether he believes the 2020 presidential election was “legitimate.”
- FiveThirtyEight lists Fallon as among the 58 Trump-endorsed House candidates in the 2022 midterms who support the Big Lie.
