About
Tim Fox served as Montana’s attorney general from 2012–21 and lost his bid for governor of the state in 2020. During more than 34 years of practice, he has focused on litigation centered on the environment, insurance, product liability, real estate, banking and financial services, construction, mining, oil and gas, and personal injury, among other areas. In the wake of the 2020 presidential election, Fox publicly sided with the Texas attorney general, who filed a lawsuit with the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the results in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
The Big Lie
Fox filed an unsigned amicus brief supporting Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s suit alleging that pandemic-related measures illegally interfered with the electoral process in four states.
