America First Policies

About

America First Policies is a 501(c)4 nonprofit founded shortly after Trump’s inauguration in 2017 to help support his priorities. Former Trump aide Brad Parscale, his digital and data director, described the organization as “part of a grassroots group to go out there and help with the agenda, help the White House to be successful.”

Other early Trump advisors David Bossie, who served as deputy campaign manager in 2016, and Katrina Pierson, a senior advisor on the campaign communications team, were also involved in the nonprofit. Initial plans called for America First Policies to “conduct research into public policies and promote Trump’s favored causes, such as dismantling and replacing President Obama’s health care law and changing immigration policies.”

America First Policies is connected to the pro-Trump super PAC America First Action, which spent nearly $134 million during the 2020 election cycle.
