The Big Lie

  • The House Select Committee also subpoenaed Bachenberg in conjunction with his role in the fake electors scheme. In particular, the committee requested information about the Trump supporters who allegedly met on Dec. 14, 2020 and plotted to submit false Electoral College certificates from Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin—all states won by Biden. In the fake certificate submitted by Pennsylvania, Bachenberg is named as “Charperson, 2020 Pennsylvania Electoral College Meeting.”
