About
On Dec. 15, 2020, a group of 26 far-right incoming members of the U.S. House wrote a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi demanding an investigation into baseless claims of widespread voter fraud.
The letter signatories claimed to have “verified” reports of fraudulent mail-in ballots, missing voting machine equipment, and improper restrictions on poll observers. Among the signatories were prominent far-right firebrands Lauren Boebert (R-Co.), Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) and Ronny Jackson (R-Texas). Similar to a Jan. 5, 2021 letter to Pelosi and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the Dec. 15 letter contained unfounded allegations of widespread voter fraud.
