Sheryl Delozier

About

Sheryl Delozier (R) serves the 88th legislative district in Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives, a position she has held since 2008. Prior to being elected to public office, she worked for two Pennsylvania gubernatorial administrations.

Delozier is running for her eighth term in 2022 in a district that—after redistricting—only gives Republicans a slight advantage. She is a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), a corporate-funded bill mill that generates conservative legislation at the state level. In the months after the 2020 presidential election, she joined the widespread GOP effort to question the legitimacy of the process and overturn the results in Trump’s favor.

The Big Lie

  • On Dec. 4, 2020, Delozier signed two letters—one to Pennsylvania’s attorney general, the other to its inspector general—asking them to investigate the results of the 2020 election and alleging that new guidance about the voting process in the state “resulted in confusion, irregularities, and a lack of statewide continuity concerning how our elections were conducted.”
