Dominion Voting Systems

Once Trump lost the 2020 presidential election, Dominion became the target of baseless allegations of fraud—charges that it has repeatedly repudiated and challenged in court ever since. In 2023, Fox News paid $787 million to Dominion to settle the defamation lawsuit brought against it, and cases are still pending against other right-wing news outlets such as Newsmax and One American News Network.

Mark Finchem (R) is a far-right member of the Arizona House of Representatives who maintains ties to multiple extremist and white nationalist groups. A member of the Oath Keepers militia group himself, he has also vocally supported the QAnon cult and conspiracy theories.

Gosar, Paul

Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) has served in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2011, representing Arizona’s highly conservative 4th Congressional District. In 2022, after redistricting, he ran for reelection in the 9th Congressional District with Trump’s endorsement and won.

January 6 Capitol Protest—Arizona

About Roughly 1,000 Trump supporters protested the election results at the Arizona State Capitol in Phoenix on Jan. 6, 2021. Protesters cracked the glass in a building window, and erected a guillotine on the Capitol grounds. Some in the crowd carried guns.
