Dominion Voting Systems

Once Trump lost the 2020 presidential election, Dominion became the target of baseless allegations of fraud—charges that it has repeatedly repudiated and challenged in court ever since. In 2023, Fox News paid $787 million to Dominion to settle the defamation lawsuit brought against it, and cases are still pending against other right-wing news outlets such as Newsmax and One American News Network.

Texas v. Pennsylvania Lawsuit

On Dec. 8, 2020, Texas State Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) filed a lawsuit with the U.S. Supreme Court seeking to block Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin from certifying their results of the 2020 presidential election because of what it charged were unconstitutional changes to election procedures made to accommodate voters during the pandemic.
